Endgame DVD handout at Megadeth/Slayer gig
On the evening on the 13th of October, 2009, Megadeth, along with their metal playing mates Slayer, rocked out Challenge Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. Megadeth’s gig marks the end of their Australasian tour for their provocatively titled and covered album Endgame, which debuted at number 11 on the ARIA album charts. Endgame, you say? Images of slave-like humans with barcodes on their heads? Sounds familiar. This Alex Jones interview with Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine on September 26th confirmed what most in the Truth movement thought:
Dave Mustaine & Megadeth were inspired by Alex Jones to create Endgame (the album) and Alex Jones was, and still is, motivated by Megadeth’s work. In that spirit of unity, resistance, and creativity, WeAreChange Western Australia decided to reach out to the fans, and give them something more than what they expected for their $89.90 (plus booking fee) ticket. In less than an hour we had handed out around 500 DVD copies of Alex Jones’ film Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement (which also contained The Obama Deception).
We got a terrific reception – many Megadeth fans are aware of the issues covered in the album. We even had a random concertgoer come and help hand out many Endgame DVDs to cars as they were exiting the venue (thank you our friend!). This, along with the warm responses from fans, made the night extremely productive and rewarding, and is the first major action of WeAreChangeWA. Big shouts to everyone who showed up to help and contribute to this successful night of grassroots action.
